The SYF have arranged a tour of one of the most important and historical buildings within the City of London, the Mansion House.

The official residence and office of the Lord Mayor of London, the Mansion House, was built in Georgian times to enable our Lord Mayor to represent the city in appropriate style.

We will be guided through the extravagant rooms, including the Egyptian Room where many high profile events are held by visiting Heads of Government.

We are hopeful that that the Lord Mayor himself, David Wootton, may take us on part of the tour.

We are very aware of the fact that this is an early start for an event. It would be very worth while trying to get out of work early so that you can attend such a fabulous tour, especially for those of you who have not been into the Mansion House and have just walked past whilst racing to get your train from Bank or Cannon Street. Due to this fact we are happy to accomodate any guests you wish to attend in your place, should you not be able to make it but have friends or family who can. We do require their names and they should mention your name when they arrive.
